Dec. 4, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Central Querying and Pitching Publishing Professionals with Agent Rachel Orr (Prospect Agency) Rachel Orr will cover query letters for all types of children’s book submissions, including picture books, novels, non-fiction and illustrations. She’ll show examples of query letters from her current clients—pointing out what caught her eye—and talk about what kind of information to avoid in query letters as well. She’ll also talk about the difference between queries and pitches, and discuss the best time in your career to start the querying process. Attendees may also submit to Rachel Orr after the webinar and will be given a code. ($10 for SCBWI members, $25 for non-members)

  5. Loved the Chicken song, loved the great, happy chicken Karma and the energy, and most of all, you proved that an original song, no matter long, makes the product even more intriguing and magical. Going to Library this weekend, will order if not there! Congratulations to all involved.✌
