About the Book: After a memorable summer together where they broke a centuries old curse, best friends Frankie Wilkins and Parker Emerton reunite a year later for a new challenge: being leaders-in-training at a camp on nearby Walker Pond. When they are told that an 18th century young woman Eugenie DeVray, known as the “Bride of Rippowam” haunts the pond where she and her beau Raleigh tragically drowned, they are determined to not fall for another fake ghost story. But this time the ghost is real, and it appears she’ll do anything to keep people from the pond. The kids deduce that her soul will remain unsettled until her promised engagement ring, which was in Raleigh’s pocket when he died, is found. With their campers in danger, Frankie, Parker, and the rest of the LITs are determined to help find the ring so Eugenie can cross over. But are they willing to break almost every camp rule to do so, and will they find the ring before tragedy strikes again?
