About the Authors: Melissa Trempe is a picture book author of fiction and nonfiction in the Philadelphia area. As a former educator, she loves connecting with readers during school visits. Melissa provides a critique service for fellow authors and is represented by Amy Nielsen at The Purcell Agency. When she isn’t working, she loves reading with her kids, camping, skiing, playing with her dog, and eating just about any flavor of ice cream. Natalia Ojeda grew up in a simple home in the southernmost country of the world: Chile. Her family had few resources, yet her faith, determination, and experience in the ladybug project helped her to overcome the odds and achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. She is a doctor in the Palliative Care Unit of San Juan de Dios Hospital in Santiago, Chile. As a mother of four girls, she wants to share her story of strength and hope with children around the world.
About the Illustrator: Manuela Montoya was born in MedellĂn, Colombia. She studied graphic design and advertising in her hometown and art direction in Barcelona, where she now lives. She loves working with gouache, colored pencils, ink, and digital media. Learn more at ManuMontoya.com.

Big brother Luis, guides them in an exercise through their bodies, from the top of their heads to the tips of their toes. Following the gentle inhale and exhale of their breath, Flor and Roberto find love and calm inside and all around them as they drift off to sleep. About the Author: Stephanie Wildman, author of Treasure Hunt (2022) (illustrated by Estefania Razo) and Brave in the Water (2021) (illustrated by Jenni Feidler-Aguilar) became a Professor Emerita after serving as the John A. and Elizabeth H. About the Illustrator: Estefania Razo is an illustrator and graphic designer from Mexico she has a Bachelor of graphic design degree from the University of Guadalajara. She is passionate about illustration, books, and art in general. During her free time, she enjoys reading children's books with her nieces, watching movies, and draw.
