Critique Groups
Inked Voices, a paid service that connects people to online critique groups. Check out some current offerings, which include feedback from agents and authors:
- Inked Voices offers online, workshop-only classes for middle grade and young adult fiction writers led by editors and authors. Writers share large sections of their work and, after each round of critique, the group convenes by conference call for discussion. Groups typically last 3 months and allow 3-5 writers.
- Jan. 9-31: Young Adult Fiction First Pages - Online. Literary agent Sarah LaPolla, of Bradford Literary, will critique writers' first 15 pages in a small group setting.
- Jan 30-Feb 20: Middle Grade Fiction First Pages - Online. Literary agent Alex Slater of Trident Media Group will critique writers' first 15 pages in a small group setting.
- March 6-26 Middle Grade Fiction First Pages - Online. Literary agent Christa Henschke of Macintosh & Otis will critique writers' first 15 pages in a small group setting.
- March 13th- April 3 Young Adult Fiction First Pages - Online. Literary agent Victoria Marini of The Irene Goodman Agency will critique writers' first 15 pages in a small group setting.
